Seminar

Biomedical and life science issues now abound in daily news, and societal impacts on scientific research and application technologies increasingly become considerable and profound. Under the circumstances, it is essential that experts work on the research process and social issues of the research going beyond their expertise, not just they advance their own research.

Our department aims to examine the history of biomedicine and life science, exchange knowledge on ethical and policy implications of research with a wide range of experts, stakeholders and citizens, and explore the potential and problems of scientific research. We will never end with thoughts and criticisms. Research and practice for and in science-in-action is our utmost priority.
